Our experience working with Jennifer could not have been better. She loves showing homes and was willing to take us to see as many homes as we wanted, all over Central OR. In the beginning she promptly identified a range of sale prices from immediate to longer term then assisted us in determining the optimum timing and sales price for our unique rural property just outside of Sisters. Not only did she guide us through each step of the complicated process and negotiations, she also stepped in where needed and took care of loose ends herself. She is willing to do whatever it takes to show the best features of the property, from hosting a lovely agent open house with fresh flowers and gourmet treats to weed whacking an area we had forgotten. In the end when timing was critical between two transactions she shepherded the appraisers and inspectors while assuring us it would all come together. Even with a few bumps caused by other parties, the entire transaction was completed according to her original predictions and we were able to sell and move to our new destination with a successful sale behind us and peace of mind going forward. We were super fortunate to have Jen McCrystal sell our house. She had a great deal of patience as we had the house for sale at the start of the pandemic, as we then pulled it off the market during the shutdown, and then as we later put it back on. She made it clear she supported our decisions whatever we decided. Jen is super quick to respond. She navigated the possible sales responses, letting us choose, and supported us during the closing (it’s not a sale until it has closed!). Phone calls, texts, emails–she deftly handled all three. She visited our home when we asked what did we need to do to prepare the house for showing, and she had referrals for people who could do the various projects, all of whom did solid quality work and the result of which sold the house. She knows the community of business people and that a great relief. She was thoughtful as to where to put money for improvements and where to hold off, and how to arrange furniture. All of this, AND she is so incredibly kind, and trustworthy, and honest. Would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Jen for house buying or selling. Jen was amazing from the moment she came to look at our house until she sold it two months later! She was honest and had our best interest in mind. She worked with our hopes, yet was knowledgeable in helping us set a sellable price on our house that we were happy with as well! She is efficient and an incredible communicator. She kept us informed weekly with emails detailing the activity we had had on our house and what she was doing to get our house sold. If I sent her a text asking a question, her response either came immediately or absolutely before 24 hours was up. I’m not sure how she does it. She must not sleep. Yet she does it with grace, positivity, and with a joyful personality. When it came to writing up a counter offer, going through the inspection papers, and eventually the signing of papers for the sell of our house she was very articulate and was able to make the legal jargon of all of this make sense! Jennifer McCrystal is by far the BEST real estate agent in Oregon! Jennifer represented us in a very long (8 months) and difficult transaction. We have this to say – 5 stars is too few for Jennifer, so we’re giving her 5 more stars, as follows: * Amazing responsiveness and communication. Always courteous, tactful and polite, Jennifer replied quickly to any emails or texts every time – sometimes just to let us know she was in a meeting and would call soon. She always kept us constantly appraised of our transaction and any changes. With Jennifer we were never “In the dark”. * Complete Integrity. Jennifer makes promises and keeps them. Always open and honest in her opinions and analysis of situations. Who does this these days? * Above and beyond expectations. Jennifer provided lots of referrals for contractors like painting, roofing and well water. The septic tank needed replacing in mid-winter, but we were traveling. So Jennifer drove over an hour through Oregon’s Snowmageddon this past March and personally supervised the work to make sure it was done as agreed. She even sent us photos to ease our mind. * Jennifer is fond of saying she “spends client’s money like her own”. We found this to be quite true. She routinely connected us with contractors, lenders, escrow agents who were not only affordable, but delivered best VALUE and were equally honest and straightforward. This was also true as she helped us search for other properties when the deal fell through (at least twice). * Hustle. Like a Pete Rose or a Michael Jordan, Jennifer is the hardest working and most persistent person we’ve ever met! Whenever there was a problem ( and there were many), Jennifer would say “I’m on it!” and she was. And the problem was always dealt with quickly and usually resolved in our best interest.
